Yucca Valley and 29 Palms hosted a community led anti-surveillance teach-in! The flow was:
- Introduction, community guidelines, community song!
- What’s been done locally and what’s ahead/action steps.
- Break out groups, rotating 3 groups, facilitators educate on Political Power, Nationally and locally what has been done and what we can do moving forward, and FOIA workshop!
- Closing circle
If you’d like to get the resources we created to host your own teach-in, please reach out to us. It’s important folks don’t have to recreate the wheel, ya know!! Please lean in other deflock groups!! We need each other.
We had a turn out of 35 folks plus the 6 or so organizers. It was really productive and just fantastic to connect with our neighbors in person without Flock reps or cops giving their predictable nonsense responses, like at the 29 Palms “Community” roundtable in July.
All Power to the People
